Zehn
Zehn and Neun are a pair of giant humanoid monsters that appear as bosses in the video game The Evil Within. These two were once conjoined twins that were surgically separated by the cult of Cedar Hill Churchand were heavily experimented on, mutating them into a pair of savage giants.
History[]
Neun
Abandoned at birth, Zehn and Neun were taken in by the members of the Cedar Hill Church cult to serve as guinea pigs for their experiments. The twins were surgically separated and administered a special growth serum that caused rapid physiological changes. Within the first two days of the experiment, the infants grew to be as large as a young adult, but also left heavy mental scarring upon them. By the end of the experiment, both twins had grown to over double the size of an average adult human and possessed superior physical strength, though psychologically they were left primal and savage.
During the Beacon Incident, Zehn and Neun were used by their cultist masters to guard the church. The two giants fought against detectives Sebastian Castellanos and Joseph Oda, with Joseph taking the high ground from atop a tall wall while Sebastian fought the twins on ground level. After a lengthy struggle, the detectives manage to incapacitate Neun and kill Zehn.
Neun would later encounter Judi Kidman while she was searching for Leslie Withers. He pursues her as she runs for the gate into the church, but is unable to catch her.
