Morton Koopa Jr. is one of the seven Koopalings from the Super Mario Bros. video game series. He has appeared in several games along with the other Koopalings as well as in the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World cartoon shows, in which he is known as Big Mouth Koopa. In the early games and TV shows, Morton was depicted as one of Bowser's children, but this concept was dropped following the introduction of Bowser Jr..
Appearance[]
Whereas most of the Koopalings have yellow-colored skin, Morton's skin is greyish-brown. His head is colored white and he has a grey star tattoo over his left eye. He has a black spiked shell and wears spiky cuffs on his forearms. He is also balding, having only three thin black hairs atop his head.
Personality[]
Morton is known to be very angry and prone to temper tantrums. He has an inflated opinion of himself and likes to think that he is right about everything, though he is usually wrong. When he makes mistakes, his first response is to blame someone else. He is also known to be excessively talkative, hence his nickname "Big Mouth".
Abilities[]
Morton, as one of the larger Koopalings, can use his weight to flatten enemies. He is capable of clinging to walls and ceilings, can shoot magical blasts and breathe fire. In later games, Morton has been shown to possess a sonic screech attack that can disorient foes. He also wields a magical hammer and pilots his own Koopa Clown Car.
