Pokédex Data Edit
The Butterfly Pokémon Butterfree is most often found in forest areas, though they have also been documented flying across the sea in a migratory pattern. Its wings are covered in toxic powder that repels water, enabling it to endure the rain and gather honey and nectar. This Pokémon relishes nectar so much that it will even suck flowers dry of it, carrying it back to its nest using the hairs on its legs. Butterfree will search for blooming flowers as far as six miles from its nesting ground.
Below is a list of some of the abilities commonly used by Butterfree.
- Poison Powder - Butterfree scatters these toxic spores with each wingbeat, poisoning any Pokémon they touch.
- Gust - Butterfree flaps its wings quickly and kicks up a strong wind to bowl over enemies.
- Psybeam - Butterfree unleashes a harmful energy beam from its compound eyes. This attack has a chance of causing confusion.
- Rage Powder - Spores scattered from Butterfree's wings that can send other Pokémon into aggressive fits.
